Visions for the Future
Values for a Lifetime
ABSENCE - Please report your child's absence to the school nurse 631-665-4911 x146 between 7:45-8:30. After absences, your child must return to school with a note and the reason for the absence. If the note is not sent, it will be considered an unexcused absences, as mandated by NYS.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS: After School Clubs run for three Sessions throughout the school year, Fall, Winter and Spring. After School Clubs run from after school until 3:55pm. Club choices will be distributed to students as well as included in Mrs. Neuman’s Newsletter. Sign up for clubs will be on Zeffy.com and a specific link will be included on the Club information flyers.
COMMUNICATION - St. Patrick uses SchoolMessenger system to communicate time sensitive information to parents. Depending on communication, email, voice and text messaging may be used; parents are asked to ensure all contact information is kept up-to-date with the school. It is recommended that parents consult the website on a regular basis. It is our policy to mail communications to only one street address-the address the school has on file (Fact Form). If parents are separated or divorced, it is the obligation of the parent who lives at the address we have on file to communicate information to the other parent, to the extent required by law. It is suggested that both parents create an email account dedicated exclusively for school and share the username and password. Please be sure to OPT-IN to School Messenger to continue/start receiving important messages from St. Patrick School.
Receiving Text Messages

CROSSING SAFETY - It is the crossing guards responsibility to be sure our students cross safely, therefore please be sure to cross only with their guidance. Students should not be getting in or out of cars and darting across the street without their supervision.
To avoid the chance of cars not seeing the children, students will need to walk to the crossing guard and cross only with assistance. This will ensure that cars are stopped in both directions and students get across the street safely.
