Our Nursery curriculum is designed to provide a nurturing, faith-filled environment where children learn through hands-on experiences, play, and exploration. Throughout the year, students participate in themed units including All About Me, Fire Safety, Healthy Habits, Community Helpers, Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter. Instruction focuses on Religion, Math with an emphasis on shapes and numbers, Letter Recognition and the Letters of the Alphabet, and Science.
Each day begins with Circle Time, where children participate in the calendar, prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, weather discussion, the Letter of the Week, songs, and story time. Students then engage in Small Group Learning through a center-based approach that includes two independent learning centers, one teacher-led center, and one aide-guided center. Snack time provides children with the opportunity to enjoy a snack brought from home, followed by play time, which encourages physical activity, social interaction, and the development of important motor skills.
